Court Forms

Preparing forms for court

We aim to explain in more detail which forms to use in which court. However, all of the forms are available on the internet on the HMRC website

If you are at all unsure as to the correct form you require and are already a Justice for Families client please feel free to contact us and we will provide you with as much help as we can.

If you are claiming certain benefits you can complete form EX160 and avoid having to pay court fees.

We are establishing a network of advisors some of whom will be able to help you with the preparation of papers for court.

All the court forms come in the form of PDF files (Portable Document Format).
( for more information on PDF Files see adobe.com )

Form Filling

It is possible to use a PDF form filler such as the JAWS PDF Editor (which is not actually an editor).

The form filler can be bought at www.jawspdf.com. The advantage of using the form filler is that completed forms can be saved and emailed to advisors for checking. Otherwise considerable delays can result and forms need to be scanned and emailed which is a lot of effort. Alternative routes can be used.

Word Processing

If you are on a tight budget we recommend that you obtain the free software Open Office. That includes a good word processor and does not cost anything. Alternatively word processors such as Microsoft Word (part of the Microsoft Office package) can be used.
