Preparing forms for court

We aim to explain in more detail which forms to use in which court. However, all of the forms are available on the internet here (external link to the hmrc website)

If you are claiming certain benefits you can complete form EX160 and avoid having to pay court fees.

We are establishing a network of advisors some of whom will be able to help you with the preparation of papers for court.

All the court forms come in the form of PDF files (Portable Document Format).

It is possible to use a PDF form filler such as the JAWS PDF Editor (which is not actually an editor).

Form Filling

The form filler can be bought here. The advantage of using the form filler is that completed forms can be saved and emailed to advisors for checking. Otherwise considerable delays can result and forms need to be scanned and emailed which is a lot of effort. Alternative routes can be used.

Word Processing

If you are on a tight budget we recommend that you obtain the free software Open Office. That includes a good word processor and does not cost anything. Alternatively word processors such as Microsoft Office can be used.
